Inspiring Innovation. Connecting Communities.
Promote policy that leverages and encourages our people, land, and resources to build Nebraska into the ag-tech hub of the world. Drive Nebraska’s communities into a national model for rapid broadband access from your home to your tractor to the town center. Build and foster relationships to grow agri-business clusters in order to increase demand production and create leadership in value-added 21st century agriculture.
Make Nebraska a top destination in the Midwest for living, working, raising families, and entrepreneurship. By limiting government overreach and red tape, we can streamline efficiency to make Legislative District 23 a Better District for a Better Nebraska.
We are not immune to small town depletion. By referencing research like Blueprint Nebraska, speaking and engaging in conversations with other states, we have the potential to rejuvenate our small towns. We can harness the power of our history, agriculture, and communities to enhance agrotourism and ag-tech, which in turn will foster development that reinforces our rural communities.
I want Nebraska to become a nurturing environment where children can develop and thrive based on their unique talents, rather than being confined to a rigid "One-Size-Fits-All" education system. We can work with conservative school board members to give parents the tools they need to be involved in their child's education. By collaborating with community businesses and retired craftsmen, we can enhance trades education in high schools. By tackling the lack of housing and workforce development issues head on, we can offer innovative solutions. Through teaching and setting a positive example, we can demonstrate that America and Nebraska are the ideal places for young individuals to succeed and pursue their talents and passions.
As a staunch Pro-Life Conservative, I hold a fundamental belief that life begins at the moment of conception. I strongly support the reintroduction of the Heartbeat Act. While the current 12-week abortion ban represents an improvement over our previous standards, I firmly believe that Nebraska, as a state that upholds Pro-Life principles, has the capacity to strive for even greater measures. In addition to caring for children inside the womb, we need to prioritize supporting mothers and families who choose life, and one way to accomplish this is via public and private ventures for childcare and ensure that it is safe, affordable, and available to families.
The burden of property and income taxes in our state is excessively high, contributing significantly to the challenge of retaining residents. To address this issue directly, we can eliminate unnecessary tax burdens, such as the Inheritance Tax – we are the only state West of the Mississippi to still have this tax burden – just one of the many that hurt business growth and the bottom-line of our generational farmers and ranchers. These practical measures will provide tangible relief to taxpayers. It is imperative for Nebraska to enhance its appeal to both individuals and businesses, and one effective approach is to alleviate the property and income tax burdens on our middle-class population.
My objective is to eliminate obstacles hindering the expansion of network infrastructure in our rural communities. I am committed to forging partnerships with private enterprises, enabling us to establish top-notch network connectivity extending from our homes to the necessary equipment. I will work with the Public Service Commission and Governor Pillen’s newly formed Nebraska Broadband Office to provide rapid access to our communities. This initiative aims to ensure that residents in even the most remote areas have access to high-quality broadband services.
Excessive government intrusion can stifle innovation, hinder economic growth, and encroach upon our fundamental rights; therefore, it is essential to support policies that promote economic freedom, streamline regulations, and protect private property. By doing so, we can unleash the full potential of our local communities and foster an atmosphere of entrepreneurship and prosperity. By demanding a legislature that respects the boundaries of its authority, we can preserve the freedoms that are the bedrock of our constitutional republic.
